Barry Town United, Cwmamman United and Cwmbran Celtic are among the Southern clubs facing long trips North in the JD Welsh Cup third round.
Welsh Premier League Barry take on Huws Gray Alliance leaders Caernarfon Town at their Oval stadium in North Wales, while Welsh League teams Cwmamman and Cwmbran are away against Bangor City and Connah’s Quay Nomads respectively.
Bangor, who have former Cardiff City coach Kevin Nicholson in charge of their team, are fourth in the Welsh Premier League.
There are nine Huws Gray Alliance sides in the third round and they are Caernarfon, Porthmadog, Gresford Athletic, Llandudno Junction, Guilsfield, Ruthin Town, Airbus Broughton, Penrhyncoch and Flint Town United.
