Welsh decathlete Ben Gregory says wearing a cycling helmet saved him from “having my head all over the pavement” after his bike was hit by a car in rush-hour London traffic. The three-time Commonwealth Games competitor was left helpless as he flew through the air before landing head first on the tarmac last Monday evening.
