Charlotte Carey made a superb return to competition with victory at the Vic International Open in Spain.
The 24-year-old triumphed in her first competition for eight months following the break caused by COVID-19.
Wales’ No 1 saw off Switzerland’s Rachel Moret 3-1 in the final.
First tournament in 8 months! Very happy to get the win @Vic_tennistaula! So strange being back in competition and definitely difficult in the early rounds, but I managed to win 3-1 against Rachel Moret in the final! It’s good to be back! @walesTT @TeesSport 😷💪🏼🏓 pic.twitter.com/IdQGtH4JY8
