Jordan Hart saw her history-making run at the Danish Open come to an end.
The 25-year-old was beaten by Japan’s No 2 seed Nozomi Okuhara in the round of 16 at the Odense Park.
Hart had become the first Welsh woman to reach the second round of a BWF World Tour Super 750 singles tournament with her victory over Germany’s Miranda Wilson.

Just a day after that success after seven months on the sidelines due to the COVID-19 suspension, the Haverfordwest-born player was back on court.
Hart lost 21-6, 21-12 in 27 minutes but the experience should prove vital having faced one of the world’s best players.
Since losing last year’s Denmark Open final, Okuhara had made the quarter-finals of five out of seven HSBC BWF World Tour events.
