Jeremiah Azu has vowed to show his blazing talent on the world stage next year and avenge the “nonsense” of the ranking system that denied him earlier this summer. The 21-year-old Welsh star produced a brilliant run to claim a bronze medal in the 100m final at the European Athletics Championships in Munich on Tuesday night. Forget The "Punched Balls" . . . Swansea City Boss Russell Martin Insists He Should Take The Rap

Russell Martin has told Swansea City fans he takes responsibility for the collapse of their two-goal lead against Millwall that cost them two precious Championship points. The Swans head coach insists the collective lack of authority that resulted in two own goals in injury time – and a 2-2 home draw – is down to him. Osian Pryce Sweeps All But Keith Cronin Aside As British Rally Championship Challenge Hots Up

Osian Pryce maintains his strong challenge for the 2022 British Rally Championship title after finishing runner-up in the Voyonic Grampian Forest Rally. It was the second time in as many years that the Machynlleth-born driver had finished second on the Aberdeenshire forestry event, as he and co-driver Noel O’Sullivan enjoyed another fast and trouble-free run in their Demon Tweeks-backed Melvyn Evans Motorsport-prepared Volkswagen Polo GTI R5. As the highest placed returnee, Pryce started this year’s Grampian Forest Rally first on the road – which turned out to be a disadvantage as he swept the loose gravel off the surface in the fast and flowing Durris, Fetteresso and Drumtochty forests.
