The Moose Faces Landmark Appearance In Cardiff Bay

Cardiff Devils must find a way past the Moose at Ice Arena Wales this evening.

Captain Jake Morissette and his Devils play Sheffield Steelers in Cardiff Bay and the visitors are aiming for a third successive Elite League win (Wednesday, 7.30pm).

The Moose – Latvian goalie Ervins Mustukovs – is making a landmark 200th appearance for Steelers when they play Cardiff.

He defied the Devils’ shooters in Sheffield on Sunday, facing 50 shots and conceding only goal goals.

Steelers won 5-2, leaving League leaders Devils needing two wins from their remaining six fixtures to be crowned champions for a second season.
