Nine-times Welsh champ Peter Creed is second seed for the Llantrisant Squash Open PSA event.

Creed Beaten In First Round In Cairo

Peter Creed’s hopes at the BlackBall Open in Cairo were ended with a first round defeat.

The 31-year-old from Caerphilly was beaten 11-5, 11-3, 11-7 by Leicester-born George Parker.

Creed went into the $180,500 event having slipped to 58 on the PSA World rankings from last month’s position of 50

And Parker, now based in Birmingham and having reached a career high 38 in the rankings, proved too strong in their 26-minute long contest.
