Evan Hoyt is into the world’s top 500 tennis players for the first time in his career.
The 23-year-old from Llanelli has reached 456 in the latest ATP rankings – a huge rise of 114 places.
Hoyt has shot up the rankings in the past few weeks after a successful spell in Australia having been hit for 18 months by a shoulder injury.
He claimed his first futures singles title since 2015 after beating American Colin Sinclair in Brisbane earlier this month.
