Adam Beard In Starting Line-Up As Wales Make One Change For Scotland Clash

Adam Beard has been recalled by Wales as coach Warren Gatland makes one enforced change for Saturday’s Six Nations game against Scotland at Murrayfield.

Ospreys star Beard comes into the side for injured lock Cory Hill and will pack down alongside skipper Alun Wyn Jones in the second row.

Hull suffered an ankle injury having scored the match winning try against England that took Wales top of the table.

Scarlets’ Jake Ball takes over on the bench from Beard in the only other match-squad change.

Gareth Anscombe will continue at fly-half with Dan Biggar again on the bench having made a crucial contribution after coming on against the Red Rose.

Anscombe will win his 25th cap with half-back partner Gareth Davies making a 40th Wales appearance.

Rob Evans, Ken Owens and Tomas Francis again form the front-row with Josh Navidi, Justin Tipuric and Ross Moriarty named in the back-row.

Hadleigh Parkes and Jonathan Davies form the midfield partnership with Josh Adams, George North and Liam Williams line-up in the back-three.

Elliot Dee, Nicky Smith and Dillon Lewis provide the front row cover on the bench with Ball and Aaron Wainwright completing the forward contingent. Aled Davies, Dan Biggar and Owen Watkin provide the backline cover.
