The singles finalists joined forces in the doubles and they proved unstoppable, winning 21-6, 21-12 against Jessica Ding and Saffron Morris.

Established pair Joe Cottrill and Oates remained focused and won their group as expected. They didn’t drop a set and beat the runners-up Sudder and Jamie Noble 21-13, 21-10.

The mixed doubles followed and the Cottrill siblings, Joe and Abi, had their eyes on a second title, as did Andrew Oates. He teamed up with Gean Sou Mo and they managed to secure his hat-trick 21-12, 21-17.

The boys doubles was an exciting event and it was great to see such tenacity from the young players. Brothers Amay and Eshaan Patil took the first set 22-20, but failed to convert the second and lost to Llwyd Crump and Eli Owen 21-14 in the third set.
