Merthyr Town have a ‘Pay What You Want’ Southern League fixture at their Loadlok Community Stadium home this evening (Tuesday, 7.30pm).

Crisis club Merthyr, who are facing financial problems, will allow spectators to pay any amount when go to the Premier Division fixture (7.45pm).

After the success of the ‘PWYW’ fixture against Dorchester Town last season Merthyr are offering fans the same deal again.

Goalkeeper Cameron Clarke and Corey Jenkins both miss the match against Basingstoke following injuries sustained at Kings Langley.

Ashley Evans, Ian Traylor and Ryan Prosser all picked up knocks and will be assessed before kick off.

Clarke has been released from hospital following an injury sustained at King’s Langley.

He was involved in a collision and briefly knocked unconscious. Paramedics attended quickly and moved Cameron to Watford Hospital.

Cameron underwent a CT scan and the results came back as normal, but the hospital wanted to carry out a MRI scan to be safe.
