Dylan Levitt believes joining Hibs will provide him with the perfect opportunity to regain his place in the Wales team.
The midfielder recently finalised his transfer from Dundee United, becoming Lee Johnson’s sixth signing of the summer.
Levitt, along with his new teammates, have departed for a warm weather training camp in Marbella.
After earning 13 caps for Wales, he was an unused substitute throughout their World Cup campaign in November. He also missed out for this year’s Euro qualifiers.

However, Levitt is confident that playing in high-profile European fixtures and high profile matches such as the Edinburgh derby against Hearts, will enhance his chances of catching the attention of Wales manager Rob Page.
He said: “Hibs is a massive club with a massive fanbase. The way the manager spoke about the style of play, massive following home and away, the stadium is outstanding, the facilities are outstanding. I want to get back in the Wales squad as well.
“This will give me a platform to kick on. Talks started about a week ago, maybe.
“His style of play is very clear. He wants to have a lot of the ball and that suits me down to a tee. There’s big games this season and there’s Europe as well which is a massive bonus. Hopefully we can finish in the top three.
“Being involved in big games is what every footballer wants. Especially in Europe. The Edinburgh derby is massive, I’ve seen it on TV. I can’t wait to be involved in one.”

Levitt made 33 appearances for DundeeUnited last season having spent the previous year on loan at Tannadice.
Relegation in May meant the 22-year-old playmaker was looking for a new challenge ahead of the new campaign.
Levitt added: “Scottish football can be different at times. Some games you have a lot of the ball. Some games you don’t have a lot of the ball and there are a lot of second balls and counter-attacks.
“But being here two years you adapt very quickly. Every team is competitive in this league. Everyone wants to push each other. That’s why I am staying.”
