Llandudno Junction Battle Back To Earn Alliance Point

Llandudno Junction battled back to earn a valuable point in their Huws Gray Alliance home match against Airbus Broughton UK.

Bottom of the table Junction were happy to come out with a 3-3 draw, while Airbus are reflecting on their defensive frailties.

They have conceded 16 goals in their last five league matches and have the fourth worst record in the Alliance when it comes to conceding goals.

Junction recovered from two goals down at their Arriva Ground to collect a hard-earned point.

Ryan Edwards fired Airbus ahead after eight minutes and their second goal came when former Airbus Under-19 goalkeeper Keighan Jones could only punch a corner into his own net on 25 minutes.

Jordan Kane pulled one back when he scored at the far post from a corner, but Oli Lanceley made it 3-1 following a Wes Baynes free-kick.

Airbus looked in command, but Junction fought back with spirit and character.

Adam Eden scored their second goal and James Hobson made it 3-3 after goalkeeper Andy Coughlin dropped the ball following an 85th corner.
