Two Midfield Players Sign For Bluebirds On The Deadline

Cardiff City have signed midfield players Liam Feeney and Craig Bryson.

Fennel moved from Blackburn Rovers and was quickly followed by Derby County’s Craig Bryson.

Both deals were completed – and confirmed by the Bluebirds – as the transfer window closed at 11pm.

They will be available for Cardiff’s Championship match at Fulham on Saturday week.

Former Bournemouth and Millwall player Feeney, 30, joined League One side Blackburn in 2016.

He has been restricted to four Championship appearances from the bench plus one EFL Cup start.

Bryson, also a midfield player, looks certain to join Cardiff on a season-long loan, but that has not yet been confirmed by the Bluebirds.

The 30-year-old has made 244 appearances for Derby since joining from Kilmarnock in 2011.

Bolton Wanderers have completed the signing of winger Craig Noone from Cardiff City for an undisclosed fee.

Scouser Noone, 29, has signed a two-year contract at the Macron Stadium.

Noone joined the Bluebirds on a £1m transfer from Brighton five years ago and scored 19 goals in 170 appearances for the club.

“There had been some interest from other clubs but Bolton was always my first choice,” said Noone.

Matty Kennedy and Stuart O’Keefe have moved from Cardiff to League One Portsmouth, while Declan John has signed for Rangers, also on loan.

There has been no news on speculation that Joe Ledley is rejoining the Bluebirds, but as a free agent he can join a club after the transfer window closes.

The window shut with striker Kenneth Zohore still a major part of manager Neil Warnock’s squad. Zohore is staying with Cardiff.
