Neil Hoping Bradley Is Taylor Made For Swansea

Neil Taylor is backing Bob Bradley to make a big impact at Swansea City as he eyes a return to the team.

The left-back fell out of favour under former manager Francesco Guidolin starting just one Premier League game this season.

And Taylor, despite his heroics with Wales in the Euro2016 finals last summer, was subbed before half-time in his one appearance.

Taylor, who has been on duty with Wales, said: “I will just go back and work the same way I was working under the old manager, that is the way I do things.

“It makes no difference to me, but obviously there will be different ideas.

“There are ups and downs for every footballer, you just stay on a level playing field whether you are up or down.

“You keep working the same way, things come back around – that is the way football is.”

“The lads have said training has been really good. He looks a really exciting manager. He looks up for it and backs his ability.

“Hopefully from here onwards we can pick up results because that is what matters in the Premier League,” he said.

“He looks very motivated and that is great for the players. We can feed off him and we need to use that to pick up results, that is obvious now.”

Bradley could hardly have asked for a tougher start with the Swans travelling to the Emirates to face in-from Arsenal on Saturday.

But Swansea have won on three of their previous five Premier League visits including a crucial 2-1 win last season.

Taylor added: ”It is a tough first game but we don’t mind playing that.

“We are hoping we can pick up from where we left off there last season and pick up points. We would be probably written off even if we were in form.”
