Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson hailed his team’s emphatic victory at Dagenham and Redbridge as their best away display of the season as they moved four points clear of Notts County at the top of the National League.
“I thought it was a strong all-round performance from us,” said Parkinson.
“We had to respond from the weekend and we’ve done that. Four points from two potentially tricky away games is a good return.”
Two first half Ollie Palmer goals, one from Jordan Tunnicliffe and another Jacob Mendy eased them to victory in East London.
“The result is great, but the manner of the display is right up there with as well as we’ve played on our travels this season,” added Parkinson.
The victory – at a ground where Wrexham have come unstuck in the last two years – moves the Dragons four points clear with 10 games left to play.

Meanwhile, Dagenham & Redbridge drop one place to 11th, six points outside the National League play-off places.
Palmer opened the scoring after six minutes and Tunnicliffe doubled the lead before the break.
Palmer bagged his second of the evening, and 16th of the season, before Mendy completed the scoring with 20 minutes left at Victoria Road.
Parkinson added: “The result is great, but the manner of the display is right up there with as well as we’ve played on our travels this season.”
