Two coaches - both former Wales internationals - will walk the Premier League relegation tightrope this weekend, desperate to avoid the drop. Craig Bellamy and Rob Edwards were once Wales teammates, but they are now both fighting for survival on the penultimate weekend of the season.

A statue honouring Cardiff’s legendary ‘Rugby Codebreakers’ - has won the ‘Celebrating Black Sporting Heritage Award’ category at the Sporting Heritage Awards. Unveiled in Cardiff Bay in July last year, the statue of Billy Boston, Clive Sullivan and Gus Risman is the first in Wales ever to feature non-fictionalised, named black men.

Ioan Lloyd scored a fantastic victory on the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup in Ireland (4-5 May). The 21-year old from Llandysul was contesting the Killarney Rally of the Lakes, which was round three of the new series for young drivers in identical Rally4 cars, and claimed his second win of the year with a superb drive against fierce opposition.
