Cardiff Met must bid for a Twickenham re-run with a different ending next season after losing their BUCS Super Rugby Championship final to Hartpury College.

Despite a dramatic fightback from 20-3 down to lead 24-20, the Archers eventually lost 27-24.

Cardiff Met had beaten both Loughborough and Bath Universities on their way to the final – in a tournament that showcases the elite level of student rugby – but their comeback surge just failed to bring them the silverware last week.
