Former Sky Sports reporter Bryn Law is about to reveal the dark arts and the gentle persuasions of the football reporter.

The man who prowled the touchlines during Wales’ run towards Euro 2016 will be disclosing tales of tetchiness in the technical area in an online session open to budding broadcasters.

Law will be laying it down with other reporters on a panel discussion on Thursday June 3, entitled “The Evolution of the Football Reporter” hosted by the Royal Television Society Cymru and Expo’r Wal Goch.

ITV Wales’ Beth Fisher, BBC Radio Wales’ Ian Hunt and Sky Sports’ Soccer Saturday’s Abi Davies are also among the contributors, along with Sioned Dafydd Rowlands from S4C’s Sgorio.

The discussion forms part of Expo’r Wal Goch (The Red Wall Expo), a four day online festival offering a stage to explore Welsh football’s social, cultural and political impact.

Organiser of the Expo, Tim Hartley said:“Welsh football fans may not be going to the Euros this summer but they will still be celebrating their passion for our national game through a series of talks and panel discussions designed to bring football people in Wales together to share experience and build networks.

“If you have ever fancied yourself as the next Bryn Law, Gabby Logan or Kelly Cates then you should tune in to this special RTS Cymru Expo session on the changing face of football reporting.”

The sessions are aimed at young people trying to break into sports broadcasting.
