Experienced Gary Appointed Bangor City Manager

Gary Taylor-Fletcher is the new manager of Huw’s Gray Alliance club Bangor City.

The former Blackpool, Hull, Millwall, Leicester and Huddersfield player takes charge of the Citizens with immediate effect.

He has scored fun each of the top five divisions of English football and is experienced in Welsh domestic football.

A statement by Bangor City said: “We are delighted to unveil the club’s new manager as Gary Taylor-Fletcher.

“Gary is a popular and familiar name and face to all in English and Welsh football.”

Taylor-Fletcher worked alongside Kevin Nicholson at Bangor, steering the club to fourth and runners-up places in the Welsh Premier League, securing European football qualification.

Taylor-Fletcher has most recently been playing for Llandudno in the WPL and he says: “I am delighted to be back as manager of Bangor.

“I am really looking forward to the challenge. The team are on an excellent run of form and we look forward to our trip to Rhyl on Friday.

“I will be giving it my all once again to ensure that we are prepared as a team for every game and I will also be back on the pitch if and when I am needed. Keep the faith! Fletch.”

Bangor’s website reported the departure of Director of Football Stephen Vaughan Jnr to take a role in Malta

He has been appointed assistant manager at Mosta FC in the Maltese Premier League. Vaughan Jnr will be joining up with experienced coach Mark Miller.

Bangor are currently fourth in the Alliance and their next fixture is against Rhyl away on Friday.
